Label Component

Another component we will learn is a simple text, a label (component Label). It is used to insert texts in the Form, alternatively we can also use it to print out simple notifications in the Form (a similar feature has a component Edit). We will use it to enter a simple question, as well as for the answer print out. We will create a new project (see Creating and running a new application) requiring two Button components and two Label components (Standard entry) to put into the Form (Figure 14). The text Label1 appeared in the Form (alike Button1).

In an Object Inspector, we will change the Caption setting:

• Label1:          Hello, how are you? (similar to the Button settings)
• Label2:         we will change to the text ........... (a place for a reply)
• Button1:        Fine, and you?.
• Button2:       Good, how about you?

Tagging for the Label component is similar to the Button component (Figure 15).
